The farmers and food processors in Ontario along with The Ontario Table staff want you to consider this…..
If every household in Ontario spent $10 a week on local food, we’d have an additional $2.4 billion in our local economy at the end of the year. Keeping our money circulating grows those dollars to $3.6 billion and creates 10,000 new jobs.*
Keeping our money circulating in our community grows to $3.6 billion and creates 10,000 new jobs.
We can all make a difference!
Each food dollar spent is a vote for the kind of culinary culture we have around us. Change you food spending habits and watch the culinary culture around you change – dollar by dollar.

If every household in Ontario spent $10 a week on local food, we’d have an additional $2.4 billion in our local economy at the end of the year. Keeping our money circulating grows those dollars to $3.6 billion and creates 10,000 new jobs.*
